HRH Prince Talal Bin Abdulaziz, Chairman, Board of Trustees of Arab Open University. He is the president of the Arab Gulf Program for United Nations Development Organizations AGFUND which aims at helping human resource development all over the world through developmental projects such as:

▪ Arab Council for Childhood and Development

▪ Bank of the Poor

▪ Center of Arab Women for Training and Research

▪ Arab Network for NGOS

▪ AGFUND International Prize

In his struggle for development in the Arab World, Prince Talal turned to investment in the education of the youth as a cornerstone and hence established the Arab Open University with the AGFUND as sponsor.

As president of the Arab Open University, HRH follows up on the needs and achievements of the university amidst his plentiful responsibilities. He emphasizes quality assurance as a gateway to excellence. The noble efforts of HRH have placed him among the leading philanthropists of the world making him one of the most distinguished Arab personalities.
