Accreditation and Validation:

Open University Validation Services [OUVS] offers a comprehensive institutional accreditation and programme validation service for providers of higher education worldwide.

The process of accreditation and validation administered by the Open University Validation Services (OUVS) is of paramount significance to the operation of the AOU.

Egypt Branch received the final document pertaining to the terms and conditions for the accreditation of open learning universities in Egypt after it has been ratified by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and Academic Research.

During the initial years of programme offerings, the AOU utilizes course materials produced by the UKOU for three of its programmes:

1- English Language and Literature

2- Information Technology and Computing

3- Business Administration

Therefore, the AOU intends to uphold quality standards of programme implementation and monitoring in accordance with the requirements of accreditation and validation (OUVS) throughout the initial and succeeding stages of programme development and implementation.
