Dr. Marwa Hassan was born in 1980, Dr. Marwa's academic
journey began at Helwan University, where they graduated with a Bachelor of
Science in Computer Science from the Faculty of Computers & Information in
2001. She graduated with an Excellent with Honor degree.
She completed a master’s degree in computer science at the
same institution in 2005. Their thesis, titled "Development of Automatic
Speech Recognition System," was conducted under the supervision of Prof.
Abd-Elbadeeh Salem and Prof. Aliaa A. Youssef.
In 2012, Dr. Marwa earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from
Helwan University. Their doctoral research focused on "Malicious Software
Detection System for Mobile Platforms," supervised by Prof. Ebada Sarhan
and Prof. Aliaa A. Youssef.
Dr. Marwa was appointed as a teaching
assistant at the Faculty of Computers and Information, Helwan University, in
May 2001, and in 2005 she was appointed as an assistant teacher, then she
worked as an assistant professor in 2012.
She has supervised many graduation
projects in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning. She also
supervised master's and doctoral dissertations and published many papers in
the fields of computer science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
1- Assistant Professor of Information Technology - March 2024 to date at the Arab Open University in Egypt (AOU - Egypt).
2- Assistant Professor of Computer Science - Helwan University - September 2012 until March 2024.
3- Computer Science Teaching Assistant - Helwan University - September 2001 to July 2012.
- Teaching and Coordinating several Courses including Data
structure, C programming language, Algorithms, Functional programming concepts, Object-oriented programming with JAVA, Computer organization, Operating systems, and Artificial
intelligence.
- Post-graduate supervision on master's and doctoral dissertations.
- Being the pioneer of "Online" student family in the faculty of Computer
and Information, at Helwan University, from 2015 to 2020.
