The Arab Open University – Egypt Branch is inviting applications for a full-time faculty position in Cybersecurity at the Faculty of Computer Science Studies, with appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor based on qualifications and experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching cybersecurity courses, developing and reviewing curricula, supervising students, participating in academic advising and committees, contributing to research and publications, and supporting quality assurance, accreditation, and community engagement activities.
Required qualifications include a PhD in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, university-level teaching experience, a research record appropriate to rank, strong English proficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively.
Preferred expertise includes areas such as network security, ethical hacking, cryptography, digital forensics, secure software development, cloud/IoT security, threat intelligence, and AI in cybersecurity. Professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, OSCP, Security+) are an advantage.
