A dedicated researcher and educator with a passion for cloud computing, optimization algorithms, and deep learning, Dr. Dina Awny Amer focuses her research on the application of advanced computational techniques to address real-world challenges, particularly in workload distribution and task scheduling.
Having earned her PhD in Computer and Systems Engineering, where her thesis explored workload distribution on cloud computing resources with a focus on performance evaluation and enhancement. She completed her Master's degree specializing in maximum power point tracking algorithms in photovoltaic systems, and her undergraduate degree in Computers and automatic control Engineering from Tanta University.
Dr. Dina serves as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Computer Studies, Arab Open University, El-Sorouk, Egypt. She is skilled in teaching diverse areas including optimization algorithms, data and image encryption, task scheduling, deep learning, pattern recognition, and cloud computing.
With a strong foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of computational systems. She is also a peer reviewer for the Supercomputing Journal.
