Hala M. Abbas received the Ph.D. degree
in computer science from Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence,
Helwan University, Egypt, in 2014.
From 2014 – 2017 she was an
assistant professor in Helwan University. She is currently a fully seconded
assistant professor to the Arab Open University- Egypt branch-, faculty of
computer studies. Her research interests include artificial intelligent,
computer vision, security solutions for the Internet of Things and cloud
computing.

From August 2017 till now, I have been an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Computer Studies, Arab Open University - a partner of The Open University UK - Egypt branch (https://www.aou.edu.eg). From July 2020 to February 2021, I worked as the ITC program coordinator for the Egypt branch and was responsible for preparing the Bachelor degree bylaws for both the OU and the Egyptian Supreme Council of Universities accreditation of 5 different tracks.
From 2013 to August 2017, I was an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Computers & Artificial Intelligence, Helwan University (http://www.helwan.edu.eg), in the Department of Computer Science.
From 2006 to 2013, I served as a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Computers & Artificial Intelligence, Helwan University.
From 2001 to 2006, I was a Master Student and Lecturer at the Faculty of Computers & Artificial Intelligence, Helwan University.
From 1997 to 2001, I was an Undergraduate Student at the Faculty of Computers & Artificial Intelligence, Helwan University.
