The Faculty of Educational Studies was established at the Arab Open University in Egypt in 2018. It offers a number of educational programs for both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, based on its vision, mission, strategic goals, and governing values and principles, to which it adheres in its effectiveness and activities. Educational programs aim to help students to acquire teaching and scientific research skills. Teaching and study materials in the faculty of Education are either in Arabic or English.
The Faculty of Education at the Arab Open University in Egypt offers a range of study programs at the bachelor’s/licentiate and postgraduate levels.
First: Bachelor’s degree, which includes the following programs:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Childhood and Education.
2. Bachelor of Arts and Education – English language specialization.
The various programs of the faculty of Education meet the needs of the labor market. During his preparation stage in the college, the student studies a group of specialized, educational, and cultural courses that provide him with an appropriate educational level and give him the necessary skills in his field of specialization.
The faculty is keen to provide integrated care to its students educationally, socially, psychologically, athletically, and health-wise. Through the human and material capabilities, health, educational, and recreational facilities provided by the university, the faculty provides its graduates with a set of distinguished skills that will enable them in the future to work competitively in the teaching profession in public, private, and international schools. The faculty also provides field training for its students in kindergartens, public and private schools under the supervision of specialized professors. In coordination with the Ministry of Education and Technical Education.
On the other hand, studying at the faculty of education qualifies graduates to complete their postgraduate studies there and in other governmental universities. Especially since the bachelor’s degrees, and diplomas granted by the faculty are equivalent to their counterparts granted by faculties of education in Egyptian governmental universities.
