Dr. Ayman Elsoufy is an Assistant Professor of Linguistics at the Arab Open University (Egypt Branch), distinguished by his extensive overseas experience teaching English and linguistics at the university level. His international background informs his research agenda, which includes discourse analysis, corpus linguistics, and Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA), alongside developments in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). He has published peer-reviewed research in Scopus-indexed journals and serves as a reviewer for different international academic journals.
He also holds a Certificate in TESOL from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, USA. In addition to his research, Dr. Elsoufy provides dedicated mentorship by supervising MA candidates pursuing their degrees in TEFL at the Arab Open University.
