Dr. Lubna A. Sherif is an Assistant Professor of Linguistics
and Translation in the Faculty of Language Studies, Arab Open University. Her
research employs interdisciplinary approaches to linguistics and translation,
with specific expertise in sociolinguistic ethnography, cognitive stylistics,
and multimodality.
A Fulbright alumna, Dr. Sherif secured a grant from the
Institute of International Education and the U.S. Embassy in Cairo to implement
a teacher training program. Dr. Sherif is also an active member of the academic
community, serving as a reviewer for the MexTESOL Journal and maintaining
affiliations with NileTESOL, the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF),
and The Egyptian Association for Globalization and Language Solutions (EAGLS).
